You can earn 2% cash back on two eligible categories (Groceries; Gas; Restaurants; Recurring Bills; Drug Stores; Hotels; Furniture; Home Improvement; Entertainment; Public Transit and Parking). If you decide to deposit the rewards directly into a Tangerine Savings account will get to choose an extra category for the higher cash back rate, which means you will be able to have 3 categories at 2% cash back. Any other purchases made outside your chosen 2-3 categories will earn 0.5% cash back.
